Mac identifies as white, disabled, queer, non-binary, trans, and polyamorous. They have experience working with LGBTQ, POC, disabled, fat, kinky, polyamorous, and sex work communities, with most of their experience centered around working with trans, non-binary, and gender non-conforming folks.
At the core of their approach to healing is exploration of internalized dominance and oppression and empowerment to disrupt systems that uphold power. This manifests in client-centered and strengths-based practices with a relational approach.
Credentials and Education: Mac is a Licensed Social Worker Associate Independent Clinical (LSWAIC) in the state of Washington. They hold a Master of Social Work degree from the University of Washington and two Bachelor of Science degrees in Psychology and Exercise and Sports Science from the University of Utah.
Mac offers mental health counseling to teens 16+ and adults in English.
