Initial Assessment Process
We want to make sure our accessible counseling program is the best fit for you and your needs. We have so much trust in our graduate level clinicians in training, and we know that sometimes the healing you are seeking might be outside our scope. Because of this, the first step in entering into our accessible counseling program is to participate in an initial assessment with one of our therapists.

During this initial assessment, we'll work with you to figure out what type of practitioner might be the best fit for you and your unique needs. We'll ask you a series of in-depth questions to get to know you and where you're at with your healing journey. We want this to be a time to tell your story and truly be heard and seen. We hope this feels like a conversation that kick-starts your path towards growth and change.

At the end of the assessment, our team will work with you to determine the next best steps for your needs: either scheduling with one of our therapists and starting weekly sessions, or finding a therapist in the community.

Assessments are $50 and last roughly 55 minutes. We know this is a commitment up front. Our commitment back is that we will work hard to connect you with healing that meets you where you are. If that's with us, awesome! If not, that's okay too. We've developed a referral network of politicized healers and community partners we feel great about referring to.

If we can't schedule you for weekly sessions for whatever reason, we promise to provide you with quality referrals that will be able to meet you in your needs.
